Field Research – Lebanon
The struggles of Syrian refugees is recurrent every winter, due to the lack of sustainable solutions by the UNHCR and the Lebanese authorities. What are the main difficulties and challenges faced by refugees during the winter season? What are the measures taken by refugees in the event of flooding? What are their most urgent needs?To answer these questions, Access Center for Human Rights conducted a field research in November 2020 on the preparations of Syrian refugees for winter, along with recommendations to the relevant actors to avoid a recurrence of tragedy.
