Weekly Situational Update #8: Syrian Refugees in Lebanon  

Following nearly 14 months of hostilities and two months of heavy fighting and a ground invasion, Hezbollah and Israel agreed to a ceasefire that took effect at 04:00 (UTC+3) on 27 November. While a significant number of internally displaced refugees (IDRs) have been able to return to their homes, the widespread destruction, damage and Israeli restrictions have left many others unable to do so. The situation remains fragile, with ongoing violations of the ceasefire and a significant challenge in reconstruction ahead.
