The Universal Periodic Review allows non-governmental actors, especially civil society organizations, to ensure the mitigation of human rights violations to the extent possible.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The coalition of civil society organizations launched the reports\u00a0concurrently\u00a0to\u00a0the third round of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) for Lebanon in early January 2021. The coalition included\u00a0approximately\u00a056 organizations and actors from active civil society, and 12 reports were\u00a0produced.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Among\u00a0the\u00a0human rights violations\u00a0reports is\u00a0a\u00a0report on the rights of Syrian refugees, in which the\u00a0Access\u00a0Center for Human Rights participated.
