Access Center for Human Rights operates as a non-governmental, non-profit human rights organization. It is led and run by Syrian refugees with professional backgrounds in law, human rights, and journalism, who were forced to seek asylum in Lebanon due to their pro-democracy activism in Syria. Access Center for Human Rights is committed to upholding the rule of law and combating impunity. It maintains a non-religious and non-sectarian stance and remains independent of any political affiliation. Access Center advocates for the collective and individual rights of refugees by investigating and highlighting the numerous violations of international law they suffer. The center advocates for the voluntary, dignified, and safe return of refugees to their countries of origin. It has been registered in Lebanon since 2017 and in France since 2020.
